AK-48 is a hybrid of Indica and Sativa strains, with characteristics common in both plants. Since the mid-1990′s, AK strains have been increasing in popularity amongst both growers and smokers equally.

Most growers feel that this helps improve the taste of the plant, but this is entirely a matter of personal taste. Even though AK-48 is made up of Sativa and Indica strains, smokers compare the high achieved to that common with Sativa’s, making it a firm favorite.
