This is a newer, more controllable version of the original Haze. Although the original was a masterpiece in its own right – blending the best properties of a number of equatorial genotypes – and is widely regarded as one of the most pure and powerful Sativa created, the new Silver Haze was more manageable and suitable for indoor growth. The first Silver Haze marijuana strain was popular amongst growers as it enabled them to bring the psychedelic Sativa indoors. However, growers wanted a strain that had as many of the original Haze strains as possible, including the unique plant structure of the predecessors. Silver Haze #9 is just that, a female strain of Silver Strain that has been back-crossed with the original Haze plant.

This new strain produces plants that are both tall and productive, but yet are suitable for indoor growth as they don’t reach the same heights as its Haze parent. The spaces between the branches are filled out with resin filled buds and open flowers that produce a yield similar to that of the original Haze plant structure. During a flowering light-cycle, Silver Haze #9 can vegetate and bloom concurrently, and its height gain means seedlings are unlikely to exceed 1meter. Its small stature also means that it can be put into 12/12 soon after germination. This restricted growth can also be utilized to grow full-sized plants in close proximity or to develop ‘ScrOG’ plants that are favored for their blending, and ‘super-cropping’. However, leaving the desirable growing conditions aside, the best property of the Sensi Silver Haze #9 is undoubtedly the powerful, sensual high achieved.
